Francesco Guglielmino was born in Solothurn, Switzerland and later moved to Zurich at the age of 21. In Zurich, he focused on his dance training and had the opportunity to perform in various dance shows. It was a significant milestone in his dance career when he was cast as a dancer in the musical Fame. Motivated to further pursue his dance aspirations, Francesco decided to continue his dance education in
New York City.
In New York, Francesco attended the Alvin Ailey American Theater School for two years, where he received comprehensive dance education. He also took dance lessons at Broadway Dance Center while simultaneously working as a model.
During this time, a photographer recognized Francesco's potential as a performer and actor and advised him to start taking acting classes. Acting classes at the Acting Studio and Stella Adler School followed, and Francesco embarked on his journey as an actor.
Francesco has appeared in numerous television productions and shows such as CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Law and Order, The View and The Ellen Show. Additionally, he portrayed various roles in films such as The Pink Panther, Sex and the City, and J.Edgar.
Since 2018, Francesco has been residing in Solothurn once again. He has been actively performing at the Zurich Opernhaus, showcasing his talent in productions such as Così Fan Tutte, Il Trovatore, Dialogues des Carmélites, and
Roberto Devereux.
